Project Background
The project involves the construction of a new Thermal Treatment Facility (TTF) at the ECOHIVE complex to replace the existing facility in Marsa, which is no longer economically viable and has been the source of odour complaints from nearby residents.
The new TTF aims to improve waste management efficiency by centralising hazardous waste treatment, reducing transport-related impacts, and increasing processing capacity to meet future demands.
